2012-2018 Freelance Artist/Designer for Children’s Book and Interactive App Series.
Personal Client
Started voluntarily illustrating a children’s book for a Girl Scout Gold Award Project, which led to developing two children’s apps, which have been downloaded over 50,000 in over 100 countries, and are available in three languages. Apps have received 4.5 – 5 Star Reviews.
The books, interactive apps and discussion points combined create tools for parents and educators to address bullying, empowerment, and acceptance. Over 1500 books have been donated and are currently being used nationally in bullying prevention programs. The apps have over 100,000 downloads in over 100 countries.
2 TV interviews and radio interviews at KVCR Public Broadcasting in San Bernardino, CA, and Atlanta, GA. Apps/books were turned into one minute TV Interstitials by PBS and are currently being broadcasted nationally during PBS children’s programming as part of their Bullying Prevention Program. Live radio interview 2015, PBA30 Atlanta, GA, and again in 2017. PBS and keynote speaker at assemblies at local schools in Atlanta.
Keynote speaker at numerous schools in California and Girl Scout Troops in 2014 and 2015 and Keynote Speaker at the Napa and Solano County Library Fundraiser.
Currently, working on the seventh book in the series. KVCR has agreed to animate the fifth and sixth book and add it to their children’s programing at the end of this year. Interview scheduled. PBS has continuously played the animations in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.

The Animated Short Film was awarded first place in the North Bay Art & Film Festival in 2017 and Best Animation at the prestigious Christian Life International Film Festival in Ontario Canada in 2018. “Drew’s Dancing Drum” has been officially selected for upcoming film festivals in Vallejo and New York. will be broadcast ready in 2017, at 4K Resolution.
